Preparing for Success

Professional Attire:
Universal Travel Academy is committed to preparing you for success in your new career.  We believe a student’s attire contributes to his or her business success, so it is important for students to present a neat, professional business appearance.  You are advised to wear casual business attire during class hours.  Shorts should not be worn during class hours as they do not reflect the professional business standards of the travel industry.

Behavior:
Universal Travel Academy is committed to providing you with a safe and productive learning environment.  Students are encouraged to demonstrate and maintain professional attitudes as they prepare for their travel careers.

Any conduct which is detrimental to the staff, property or the learning environment of other students will not be tolerated.

Cheating and dishonesty are not allowed.

Students are not permitted to possess or consume illegal drugs or alcoholic beverages on school property or in arranged housing. 

Firearms are not permitted on the premises.

Attendance:
Because you are preparing for a career that depends on dedication, commitment and discipline, you are expected to demonstrate these qualities by maintaining required attendance while enrolled in class.

Grading:
Grades are reviewed routinely between the primary instructor and the student.  The Academy Manager and Instructor are available to offer academic advice or assistance.

You must have an 80% average or better to graduate.

Student Achievement:
Students who have shown exceptional academic achievement by maintaining a grade point average of 92% or higher, or have demonstrated outstanding dedication by maintaining perfect attendance, will receive special recognition for these achievements.
